Heartbroken....Kaiser is an Angel now.

Kayla came home from school early on 9/25, just before I went to work. She spent some time with Kaiser just hours before he died. Here are his last two pictures. You can see how much he loved us.

I let Kaiser outside before I went to work today. He had just eaten breakfast and was playing with Kody, just like always. I left at 1000, Kayla was home sick from school. I got a call about 4 p.m. from Kayla to let me know she found Kaiser outside lying on the back porch.

I left work and drove home to find him lying on the porch on his side like he was sleeping. I don't know what happened. All I know is that I'm just devastated.

Kaiser at Nephews 10th B-Day Party

My nephew turned 10 yesterday! My husband and I brought Kaiser to the party at a local park. I don't have a picture of my nephew that isn't blurry! You can see my husband who is 5'10" working with Kaiser trying to get him to pose pretty for pictures. The little girl is my neice. The lady sitting at the picnic table is my twin sis, Shannon. Kaiser Turned 6 Months Old!

What a fabulous 6 months we've been having with Kaiser! My puppy is growing so much. Just the other day it seems he wasn't able to reach my bed and now he can walk over and lay his head down on my bed!

He still hates baths. I'm taking him to the groomer this week for handling/socialization where he will have his ears cleaned and a nail trim. Of course they'll shampoo him and blow him dry. I've been getting him used to my blow dryer, but he doesn't like it.

We go for walks in the evening after the sun goes down because it's too hot during the day. We try to go to the dog park every week when the weather isn't too hot.

Baby Wipes Scare!

Last week Kaiser swallowed some baby wipes. We waited to see if he would pass them. On day 3 he quit eating and vomited water and bile. I rushed him to the ER vet where they kept him overnight. They shaved Kaiser's right forearm all the way around for the IV. He's back home now and doing fine! He passed the wipes while at his regular vet's office. He's also on an antibiotic. He's eating much better now and is playing like crazy.

We got a bigger kiddie pool for him to play in. Enjoy!

I'm so proud of my boy! He won Best of Breed Puppy in the first show! Here's a few pictures of Kaiser at the show and hanging out at the hotel. It was very hot in Hutto and inside the arena. He did his best before he got too hot and tired. Then I was practically dragging him around the ring. We'll work on things!
